A Summer Wedding at Tithe Barn

I loved everything about Chloe & Partick’s beautiful day at the amazing Tithe Barn in Yorkshire.

Bridal prep at The Red Lion Cottages

I arrived at bridal prep at The Red Lion Cottages, where everyone was staying over and getting ready. The morning was chaotic in the best kind of way, with everyone buzzing with excitement for the day ahead. Chloe had thought of absolutely everything, from printed itineraries to having all her details perfectly organized for pictures—and she even made me a goodie bag to keep me going through the day. No detail was missed. The brilliant Louise Seville Makeup Artistry was in charge of makeup, and it’s always a treat when we get to work together. As always, she did an amazing job, and everyone looked perfect.

After capturing the girls’ prep, I headed over to the pub where the boys were grabbing a pint to snap some photos before it was time for Chloe to have her first looks with all the important people in her life.

The ceremony

From there, we headed over to the gorgeous Tithe Barn, where the rest of the day would be taking place. The ceremony was laid-back and heartfelt. The space was beautifully understated, with subtle floral touches and gorgeous fairy lights in the beams. As the bride walked down the aisle, there were smiles all around, and the groom’s face said it all—pure happiness; he even cried. After the ceremony, the couple headed outside to a surprise—Chloe’s mum had arranged for their dog to be there. Patrick then cried even more, and Chloe was absolutely over the moon.

Reception at Tithe Barn

That wasn’t the only surprise Chloe’s mum had up her sleeve—later in the evening, she arranged for singing waiters to kick the party off with a bang, and they definitely did. Everyone was up, swinging their napkins and having the time of their lives.

When the sun came out, everyone headed outside to soak it up. We gathered the bridesmaids and groomsmen for some fun pictures, and then I stole the couple away for a few sunset shots, giving them a moment alone together.

The band kept the energy going, with one of the most packed dance floors I’ve seen in a long time. Everyone was having a ball, and I was gutted to be leaving.
